We laugh about the dogs ‘bringing their owners along’, but joking aside, we want everyone to enjoy our holidays. We aim to provide an experience that meets everyone’s wants, needs and occasional (or not just ‘occasional’) indulgences…it’s a holiday, after all.
We have really thought about what would make your break away memorable and keep you coming back time and time again. I hope we have achieved that, but if something is missing that would make your stay a little bit more special, please let us know. Feedback is key to creating the perfect experience for all of our guests.
Clad in the traditional barn black larch, the cottages are designed to reflect the local barns and stables. They are beautiful buildings, and we are proud of what we have achieved since the first cottage became available in 2017. We hope you love them as much as we do.

Fully fitted kitchens
Each cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with (we hope!) everything you need – see the complete list below.
The kitchens are open plan to the seating area, with dining table and chairs, bespoke double sofa-bed, wood-burning stove (with logs included), tv with Freeview, DVD player, Bluetooth soundbar, and digital radio with Spotify.
The cottages also have underfloor heating via an air-source heat pump, so we’re environmentally friendly too.
Super king-size beds
Our beds are all super king-size and comfortable with fluffy duvets and supportive pillows, plus throws for canine companions who may wish to sleep in luxury too.
We want you to have a good night’s sleep after a day of relaxing, and we appreciate the importance of a good bed (Paddy is 6ft 8in tall, so no small beds here!).
As an added extra, you will find a selection of goodies on arrival. We can’t tell you what as that would ruin the surprise but let’s just say that no one will be disappointed.
Our cottages are a little haven of luxury in their unique ways, and if you want to shut the doors and hide away from the world, then there is no better place to do it.
Our aim is to make your stay as memorable as possible, and we like to think we have achieved that. Each cottage was designed with comfort in mind, and we want your holiday to feel like a genuinely home-from-home experience – minus the washing and ironing!
Yes, cleaning products are provided, but please don’t feel obliged.
As long as our cottages are loved and looked after, we are happy.
Accessibility
Barn Owl is all on one level, however there are steps to the front door and to the garden and the shower is over the bath and doors are standard widths.
Dragonfly is all on one level inside with a separate walk in shower and stand alone bath and doors are standard widths. There are steps to the front door and back garden.
Hare cottage is all on one level with ramps to access, wider doors, walk in shower and separate bath.
